Succeeding version 1.1 Thaw of Eons, Wuthering Waves’ 1.2 update is set to be released on Thursday, Aug. 15. You can preload the update, but only if you are selected to participate in the grayscale test for the new pre-download feature.

Maintenance for version 1.2 will end at around 10pm PT / 12am CT / 1am ET / 6am BST / 3pm AEST on Aug. 15, so all the new content should be available to explore right after. The countdown below is set accordingly.

Titled In the Turquoise Moonglow, Wuthering Waves‘ version 1.2 brings new characters and weapons, new events and story content, and more. Get ready to welcome two enigmatic five-star Resonators, Zhezhi and Xiangli Yao. Zhezi is likely to be the first banner at release, followed by Xingli Yao in phase two of 1.2. Two new five-star weapons, Rime-Draped Sprouts and Verity’s Handle, are set to join the weaponry too.
