The First Descendant’s next season sees a new character joining the fight against Vulgus. Apart from Ultimate Freyna, season one introduces a “cool” new Descendant, Hailey. Here’s everything you need to know about Hailey and her release date in The First Descendant.
Hailey release date in The First Descendant
According to The First Descendant‘s official update schedule, Hailey joins the war against Vulgus on Aug. 29 with the launch of season one. This update also adds new Invasion dungeons, seasonal power scaling, and a new battle pass.
However, Hailey’s Transcendent Modules (a.k.a. Modification Modules) are coming to The First Descendant with the second seasonal update on Oct. 10. We don’t yet know what these Modules are, so expect more information as the season progresses.
Below, you can find a countdown set to 6am CT (when season one launches), showing how many days and hours are left until Hailey is available to unlock.
Who is Hailey in The First Descendant?
Hailey is a Chill Descendant armed with an anti-material sniper rifle. She seems to be a dedicated Chill damage-dealer, as opposed to Viessa, who’s designed for debuffing and crowd control.
Here’s everything we know about Hailey’s skills in The First Descendant:
- Safe Strategic Retreat (passive): Weak point damage decreases when attacking nearby enemies, and increases when attacking distant enemies.
- Cryo Round: Fires a Cryo Round that tracks the enemy, deals damage, and inflicts the Cryo effect, making enemies take more damage from Hailey’s weapons.
- Storm Snare: Fires a beam, knocking back enemies and inflicting Cryo.
- Cold Fury: Decreases movement speed but significantly increases Firearm and Skill Critical Hit Rate and Firearm Penetration. At maximum stacks, Hailey becomes immune to knockback and increases her firearm and Skill Critical Hit Damage.
- Zenith: Equips the anti-material Sniper Cannon. Greatly increases anti-material sniper rifle’s penetration, Firearm ATK, and Chill skill damage. The weapon recovers MP when hitting weak points and decreases the Cooldown the more bullets you have remaining when the skill ends.
