THE FINALS returns to its classic gameshow theme with the Fortune Stadium. The map is similar to Skyway Stadium in terms of design but features dedicated areas for each of season four’s three main sponsors: HOLTOW, ENGIMO, and ISEUL-T.

Sponsor contracts and rewards

Sponsors are a new way for you to progress in THE FINALS and earn new rewards. In season four, you can sign with one of the three sponsors: HOLTOW, ENGIMO, and ISEUL-T. Complete seasonal contracts to earn XP and Fans for the sponsors. The more Fans you earn, the more rewards you can unlock, including exclusive cosmetics.

Choose wisely, as you can’t sign with a different sponsor after making the choice, so it’s time to fulfill your contractual obligations.

New weapons

While season four has no new specializations or gadgets, one new weapon per build should keep you occupied when exploring the Fortune Stadium or climbing leaderboards of the World Tour.

Here are all the new weapons in THE FINALS season four:

  • .50 Akimbo (Heavy): Two .50 Desert Eagle pistols for extra power and a stylish reload animation.
  • Pike-556 (Medium): Marksman rifle to take on your enemies at longer ranges.
  • M26 Matter (Light): A pump action shotgun for up close and personal encounters.

Sights and scopes

Season four adds sights and scopes as a new level of customization to your weapons. Multiple weapons (mostly rifles) now have one additional sight you can unlock for 800 VRs. It’s a new way for you to spend stockpiled VRs and get an edge in the competition.

Ranked Tournaments

In response to player feedback, Ranked Tournaments are back as a core competitive mode of THE FINALS, replacing Terminal Attack. Ranked Tournaments don’t have gameshow events anymore to make matches more competitive.

Balancing changes

Season four is packed with balancing changes and dev notes for weapons, gadgets, and specializations. While there are too many changes to count, here are some of the biggest balancing adjustments in THE FINALS season four:

  • Breach Charge: Increased ammo from two to three and increased cooldown from 26 to 30 seconds.
  • Explosive Mine: Decreased ammo count to one; decreased cooldown from 30 to 15 seconds; decreased maximum damage from 140 to 120.
  • Flashbang: Increased the maximum duration of the blind to 4.5 seconds and the maximum duration of the maximum intensity blind from 1.8 to 3.5 seconds. The intensity and duration of the blind have been reduced on teammates. Flashbangs now have higher intensity and increased view angle to get affected by the maximum intensity blind.
  • Glitch Trap: No longer shows hit markers and the maximum ammo is decreased to one.
  • RPG-7: Decreased damage from 140 to 100 and increased reload from 0.9 to 2.15 seconds.
  • Mesh Shield: Now goes on cooldown when destroyed or lowered. Decreased Mesh Shield cooldown from 15 to 12 seconds. The cooldown is only eight seconds if the Mesh Shield is undamaged when you lower it.
  • 93R: Decreased bullet dispersion when firing from the hip. Increased fire rate from 210 to 220 RPM.
  • CL-40: Increased maximum damage from 93 to 117 and maximum damage radius from 9cm to 30cm. The weapon’s fire rate is decreased from 275 to 210 RPM.
  • LH1: Decreased the damage fall-off start range from 80 to 50 meters and the fall-off end range from 100 to 55 meters.
  • SR-84: Over 40 meters, the weapon’s bullets become projectiles with bullet drop from gravity and drag.

On top of that, you can expect a new battle pass, more World Tours stops, Platinum and Diamond ranks in the World Tour, more challenges, Career Levels, customization, new tutorial levels, and even more balancing changes. For the full list, check out the official season four patch notes.
