Ludwig’s Streamer Games: All results and winners for every event

Ludwig’s Streamer Games, spanning both Aug. 17 and 18, saw streamers and content creators from numerous platforms battle it out for points, prizes, and glory.

Organizer Ludwig himself participated, with the Games mimicking the 2024 Paris Olympics in a way—various track and field events as well as team sports encompassed the weekend. However, only one team could be crowned champions.

The event, sponsored by Red Bull and Streamlabs, was broadcast live on Twitch and YouTube and held on-site at Leuzinger High School, California. Event passes were even available for people to attend in person.

Ludwig’s Streamer Games saw 32 creators from across the streaming universe converge in all-around events to battle for their teams and platforms. Each team consisted of four creators battling in each event, with both individual and team events included in the Games.

Some events mimic those seen in last week’s Olympic Games, while others differed slightly, such as the one-meter dash (although who would actually like to see that at the Olympics?). Whichever team has the highest score after the Games on day two is the champion.

99m + 1m Dash

100 Thieves’ Vinnie Hacker left all others in the dust in the 99m sprint, winning by a clear three lengths over next-best Pointcrow and FaZe’s Adapt. In the arguably less-prestigious 1m “dash” that featured numerous false starts, Team Red Bull’s Lachlan came out ahead to score the points.

Distance Throwing

Team YouTube turned up the heat on day two thanks to Sambucha’s incredible throw, leaving 100 Thieves and FaZe Clan licking their wounds thanks to both a longer arm and a couple of lucky bounces.

Dunk Tank

The final between YouTube and 100 Thieves saw many throws find their mark but none seemed strong enough to actually dunk anyone in the tank. The refs were called upon again, with it ruled that Team YouTube were the superior dunkers winning 2-1.

Game of BULL

It was a Jesser masterclass in basketball, taking down Ted Nivision in the final to lock in yet another event win for 100 Thieves. Jesser made just one slip-up in the final, proving to be the best on the court by a long shot.

Gymnastics

With U.S Olympic rhythmic gymnast Elena Shinohara hosting, it was a tie for first with FaZe Clan’s QTCinderella and Michelle Khare both recording perfect 10s from the judges for their performances.

Relay Race

It wasn’t the cleanest of wins with multiple dropped relay “batons” but Team Podcasters held on to take out the relay race by a good five or so seconds ahead of 100 Thieves and Team Red Bull.

Simon Says

Sambucha was on fire for Team YouTube on day two, holding on to take out an intense contest of Simon Says.

Tablecloth Pull

Team Red Bull narrowly took out the win with referees deciding that iamfallfromgrace’s tablecloth pull was better despite the loss of two items as her candlesticks remained upright.

Tug of War

FaZe Clan was due a win on day two, taking down 100 Thieves in the battle of the orgs. It was a valiant effort from 100T, but FaZe’s Stable Ronaldo led from the front for a strong win.

Tungsten Cube Toss

NiceWigg kept the points rolling for 100 Thieves with a ridiculous 17.5ft cube toss, nearly two feet longer than the next-best competitor. The event was also marred with controversy after referees broke the expert measuring tape, forcing an equipment swap mid-ruling.

Volleyball

Team 100 Thieves took out the volleyball with an 8-5 win over Team Twitch in the final. The volleyball event has been widely regarded as the best and most competitive event so far at the Streamer Games.

Water Bucket Challenge

In a controversial round of competition that saw referees rule out teams for cheating and a far-from-accurate measuring system, Team Podcast and Team Twitch shared the first-place points with 1,003mL of water each, ahead of 100 Thieves and YouTube at 1,002mL.

Pentathlon

The pentathlon was the final event of the Streamer Games, with the top four teams—100 Thieves, YouTube, Red Bull, and Podcast—progressing to battle for the overall prize.

The pentathlon consisted of a three-legged race, a cornhole shot, a potato sack race, a water balloon toss, and a final wheelbarrow race with two of the team’s competitors to the finish. All team members had to be involved across the five pentathlon events.

100 Thieves dominated the bulk of the competition and needed to beat a 1:12.88 set by Team Red Bull to take out the Games. NiceWigg played on through injury but couldn’t land the cornhole shot with enough time left for 100T to catch back up, meaning…
