A new gaming platform that will allow players to create and tackle custom challenges created by other users has just gone live.

The platform, run by IKON, includes tools for recording and editing that will allow players to save their best in-game moments and share them online.

IKON’s software runs in the background of supported games, which includes League of Legends and PUBG. While running, it will automatically record notable moments and save them so players can access them later.

Along with the highlight function, players can interact with each other through channels run by fellow users and some of the most renowned content creators in gaming. Players can participate in customized challenges and share their achievements with the community. IKON also gives creators the option to monetize their channels and features affiliate and partner programs.

“IKON, at its core, is a platform for players and creators to create new experiences for their friends and followers,” said Jonathan Weinberg, IKON’s CEO. “Challenge and creativity is the backbone of gaming – so we wanted to create an awesome sandbox for creators to use challenges as a way to be a part of their fans’ gameplay even when they’re done streaming.”

After creating an IKON account, players will be able to follow other creators and customize their own channel before downloading the desktop app. The app will monitor gameplay, record highlights, and give players points when challenges are completed.

Upon completing challenges made by another channel, the player will receive points to raise their score on that channel’s leaderboard. This includes popular streamers like Dmitry “Redmercy” Garanin and Tim “Trick2g” Foley, who have their own channels full of League of Legends challenges.

IKON is available for download now on PC and gives users access to challenges and content created during the beta and the ability to create their own. Support for other games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, Hearthstone, and CS:GO will be coming soon.
