Team Envy continues to extend its reach across all esports, as today the organization announced it has picked up the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds team formerly known as Highground.
The team is made up of Alec “Czechshooter” Hobizal, Zachary “Venerated” Roach, Caden “Cad3n” Brill, and Jesse “Jesselol” Enzsol. Their manager is Christopher “BixLe” Dunbar.
The team currently sits in second place of PUBGOnline’s global leaderboard, just behind FlyQuest. If the team is not one of the remaining three invitees to IEM Oakland, they will have to qualify for the event in this weekend’s online qualifier on Oct. 28 and 29.
For Team Envy, their reach grows yet again. The organization that got its start in Call of Duty now fields teams in seven games, including CoD, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Rocket League, Halo, League of Legends, and the Dallas Fuel Overwatch League team.
No further plans for the team were announced, but the entire PUBG scene’s eyes are set on IEM Oakland, which takes place Nov. 18 and 19 in Oakland, California.
