Grubie recently finished in second place at the PGL PUBG Invitational in March. The core trio of Vadim “POKAMOLODOY” Ulshin, Ivan “ubah” Kapustin, and Dmitrii “Shade1” Roschchin have added former Avangar player Sviatoslav “Drainys” Komissarov to form out Na’Vi’s first PUBG squad.

“We’ve been looking closely at PUBG for a quite a long time since that is a very successful game in commercial terms, but we were not sure as to its competitive potential,” said Na’Vi CEO Yevhen Zolotarov. “When we saw some big organizations entering the scene, and a serious tournament ecosystem with such industry leaders as PGL and ESL developed–our doubts vanished. As for the lineup, everything was clear. Everyone who I talked to about PUBG, including the managers of organizations which have already acquired such rosters, recommended signing GRUBIE.”

The team’s first event under the Na’Vi banner will be at the LAN playoffs for season one of the Global Loot League from April 20 to 22. They will compete for a $50,000 grand prize against other top teams.

“We’re happy to join one of the most powerful CIS organizations with such a huge fanbase!” said POKAMOLODOY. “We set ourselves the highest goals and count on the support of both long-time fans and the new ones. We will try our best to show you our best game!”

Also new to Na’Vi and PUBG is the team’s manager, Valeriia Khegai, who “used to create World of Tanks tutorials but now is full concentrated on the new discipline,” according to Na’Vi’s announcement.
