For those who choose the Sword Path, there’s a special Catch Collection Challenge you must work through during the Legendary Heroes event. This will happen from Sept. 26 to Oct. 1, giving you a few days to catch them all. They all won’t appear the same way. Some are easier to catch than others, and you might need to seek them out using specific items to encourage them to appear. Here’s what you need to know about how to catch all Sword Path Catch Collection Challenge Pokémon in Pokémon Go.

There are eight Pokémon you have to track down to complete the Sword Path Catch Collection Challenge in Pokémon Go. The entire Legendary Heroes event is available to work through this, giving you five days to catch them all. Unfortunately, they won’t all appear the same way. Instead, you’ll need to use incense to track down several of them, which means having enough on hand to get these Pokémon to appear. If they don’t show up after the item disappears, expect to throw on another one and try again.

Beyond using incense, the other Pokémon featured in the Sword Path Catch Collection will appear in the wild. You’ll need to walk around your local area to track them down, and they should appear for every Pokémon Go player, regardless of whether you selected the Sword or Shield path. Here’s what you need to know about how to find all Sword Path Pokémon for the Catch Collection Challenge in Pokémon Go.

PokémonCollection Method
Galarian DarumakaYou can catch Galarian Darumaka by activating incense and walking around to lure it toward you. There’s also a chance it can appear in one-star raids.
GothitaYou can catch Gothita while you use incense on your character and walk around, luring it toward you.
GrookeyGrookey will appear in the wild and has a chance to appear for all Pokémon Go players.
ScorbunnyScorbunny will appear in the wild and has a chance to appear for all Pokémon Go players.
ScraggyYou can lure Scraggy to your location by placing an incense on your character.
SeedotYou can bring Seedot to you by placing an incense on your character and walking around with it.
SobbleSobble has a chance to appear in the wild for all Pokémon Go players.
SwirlixSwirlix has the chance to appear when you place an incense on your character and walk around.

All Sword Path Catch Collection Challenge rewards: 1,000 XP and a Skwovet encounter.

Many of these Pokémon have a chance to appear when you use incense. The key to getting the most out of incense is walking around your local area and playing Pokémon Go while you have it on. Unlike the lures you use on Poké Stops, incense offers the best chance to catch Pokémon while walking around. You have until Oct. 1 to complete this challenge before it disappears.
