Blizzard added allied ultimate percentage to the Overwatch PTR, which shows up in the team overview players can tab to in-game. Gone are the days where players must rely on call outs—or lack thereof—to communicate with teammates.

It’s a feature that players have asked Blizzard for since the game’s launch. It’s not always a good idea to rely only on teammate communication for this information—for lots of reasons, not everyone uses team chat. This tiny bit of extra information will go a long way in ultimate coordination.

Allied teammates also now have a countdown ticker for respawning after death, which is another little quality-of-life feature that players will be pleased with. The more information available to teammates, the better—tiny adjustments like this can make a whole lot of difference to players.

Blizzard hasn’t said when these changes will hit Overwatch’s live server, but it’s likely to be at least a few weeks, which is typical for new hero patches.
