Sixteen Overwatch teams will compete in this year’s Nexus Cup.
Eight Chinese teams will take on eight South Korean teams in the tournament held Nov. 30 to Dec. 17. Tournament organizers announced the full lineup for the second annual tournament this morning.
From China, Lucky Future, LGD Gaming, LaoYinBi, LinGan Esports, Miracle Team One, Miraculous Youngster, Vici Gaming, and Team CC will compete. Element Mystic, NC Foxes, KongDoo Panthera, Lunatic-Hai, Meta Athena, RunAway, Seven, and X6-Gaming will represent South Korea.

Nexus Cup is a welcome tournament in the downtime between the Overwatch World Cup and the start of Blizzard’s Overwatch League. There’s been a bit of a tournament drought in the lead-up to the Overwatch League, but our competitive desires will soon be satiated.
Following the start of the Nexus Cup, Blizzard’s Overwatch League begins its preseason exhibition matches on Dec. 6. The regular season kicks off Jan. 10.
