EU LCS Summer Playoffs Finals was one of the most spected games for a lot of western fans. Fnatic was looking to go undefeated through not only Summer Split, but also Summer Playoffs matching SKT undefeated season. Sadly for them, Origen was there to stop them. “The old Fnatic” if you will, they had been preparing during the last week for this big match for every single one of the players on that team. soaz and xPeke wanted to reclaim their spot on the top of Europe, Amazing was looking for being the first player ever (if i’m not mistaken) to win NA Playoffs Finals then EU Playoffs Finals next year, mithy and Niels also came in as a strong bot lane; but everyone thought it just wouldn’t be enough to defeat Fnatic.

And Origen came up with a very strong composition for their team, picking very strong champions for every player on their team, and a surprising Gangplank (we would see huni picking that the next game) from soaz, which has been the best out of the few we have seen lately in Europe, not only with his barrel placements, but also with great ultimates to zone Fnatic away from their turrets, while the rest of the team (Varus and Corki) could just poke them out and siege the turrets easily with the support from Gragas and Braum.

xPeke did almost 30K DMG to champions against Febiven’s Viktor: 13.5K or Rekkles’ Tristana: 8.5K.

For me this game was very special as I felt as I had seen the old xPeke with a very unique power style. Most of the people will know xPeke as a split pusher or assasin player since he’s so good on Twisted Fate, Zed, Ahri, Fizz; but I will always remember his Nidalee and now on this new meta his Varus. How he is able to land so many skill shots from the back. I also want to give credit to the rest of his team, eveyone of them stepped up and showed good level of play against an uncharacteristic Fnatic team.

We’ll so how the rest of the games go…
