Riot is intent on nerfing Lee Sin in the next patch if this forum post is anything to believe, however, one statement has left players a bit on the fence as to the scale of the nerf.
The statement reads; “For Lee Sin, he is just overpowered, so we’re bumping him down slightly next patch – junglers are performing very well at the moment and he is the best jungler. (He adds a lot to competitive play, though, so we don’t want to hit him too hard).”
The scepticism that many fans have is drawn from the final statement in parentheses. The nerf may come, but if Riot still wants the champion to have a high impact in competitive play, Lee Sin will likely still be a powerhouse.
While the news that Lee Sin is likely being nerfered is welcome, with the champion boasting an impressive win rate in ranked at the moment and an instant ban in some cases, the scale of the nerf might not be what many players hope or expect in order to prepare him for the upcoming season.
