Ghost Gaming has announced the departure of three of the players that played with them at the Overwatch Winter Premier. Alex “Ajax” Jackson, Connor “ConnorJ” Johnson and Taylor “b1am” Forrest will be leaving the team while Michael “mykL” Padilla, Andrej “babybay” Francisty and Luis “iRemix” Galarza will stay with the team.
The roster of Ghost Gaming was formerly known as Team Kungarna during their play at the Overwatch Winter Premier for the online portion of the tournament. Days before the finals started at PAX South, the team announced they were signed by new esports organization Ghost Gaming. The six players competed under the Ghost Gaming banner at the finals of the tournament, where the team placed second in a loss to Immortals in the final.
The current Ghost Gaming team will be moving to Los Angeles to set-up a base of operations. They will also conduct open tryouts to find three new members. With their recent success, the team may attract top talent currently in the Overwatch community. It is unknown will the three players departing to the team will be heading whether it be to another organization or to some other venture in the scene.
