The next generation of heroes takes over in Marvel Snap’s Young Avengers season

The children will lead the way.

Marvel Snap’s August 2024 season begins on Tuesday, Aug. 6, and it’s themed around the kids: The Young Avengers are here to cause a ruckus and blast their loud music.

Revealed in a new Marvel Snap dev update today, Kate Bishop (Hawkeye) leads the way as this season’s battle pass card, and she sounds like a whole ton of fun. When Kate is played, she adds two arrows to your hand out of four potential ones: Basic Arrow, Pym Arrow, Acid Arrow, and Grapple Arrow.

Basic Arrow has the same ability as Hawkeye, while Pym Arrow has the same ability as Ant-Man. Acid Arrow has negative power and switches sides, and Grapple Arrow will move your next-played card to its location, so she has a lot of flexibility and uniqueness.

The season pass also includes new variants for Kate Bishop, America Chavez, and Scarlet Witch, who just so happens to be the mother of two Young Avengers who are also coming in the season. Hint, hint.

Four new Series Five cards are coming in Spotlight Caches, too, including twin brothers and sons of Vision and Scarlet Witch, Wiccan (Four/seven – “On Reveal: If you’ve spent all your energy this game, plus-two max energy”) and Speed (Three/three – “Ongoing: Plus-one power for each turn in which you spent all your energy”).

Rounding out the season is Marvel Boy (Three/two – “After each turn, give three of your one-cost cards plus-one power”) and Hulkling (Six/11 – “At the start of the game, copy the text of a random six-cost card”).

There are also two new locations, Destroyed Mansion (“Add a rock here and a Vibranium to your hand”) and Clubhouse (“Fill this to give your cards at other locations plus-one power”), and the Deadpool League event beginning on Aug. 8.

Marvel Snap‘s Young Avengers season kicks off on Aug. 6.
