Which teams will make it to worlds from the LCS regions? (Predictions)

Not too much analysis here, just predictions which will not be completely true but let’s give it a shot –

EU LCS

1) Fnatic

2) H2K

3) Origen

Second place may be surprising but they are a strong team with fairly strong players and a solid coaching infrastructure, I feel the scary thing about all of these three teams is they will continue to get better and better. I am actually personally not impressed with Origen’s pick/ban especially against Giants, if they manage to evolve like Fnatic can they can stay in top 3. I wouldn’t be shocked if either Roccat or Elements can creep in but that’s highly dependent on them having a team identity built up as well as constantly improving. If Origen don’t constantly improve I can seem them falling to the middle of the pack rather quickly.

I see the middle of the table probably shaping up as : Elements, Unicorns of Love, and Roccat. 

NA LCS

1) Team Liquid

2) Team Solo Mid

3) Cloud 9

As of writing this we haven’t seen week 1 of the NA LCS, in the case Liquid goes 0-2 I may change the order of this. Cloud 9 coming third is a reserved prediction as I feel that as long as Incarnati0n keeps his nerves and ego in check they can easily take the number 1 spot. However, there is a large amount of factors which the 4 original members need to get correct to bring all of this together.

As for Liquid, well they have a top 2 player in every position apart from the midlane. Fenix is still a solid player but he needs to continue improving, Piglet came back with a statement in playoffs against Sneaky and Doubelift – the other top 2 ADCs in NA. Quas has always been a strong toplaner with good game knowledge and a deep champion pool. If Liquid keep improving look for them to dethrone TSM.

Moving on to TSM they were largely exposed at MSI – yes they performed badly – yes their pick ban was rather bad considering the team comps they were up against. However with many NA teams having more proactive junglers it needs to be said for TSM to stay at the top there needs to be an attitude change with Santorin and a change in his jungle route.

As for the other contenders I see CLG TIP and TDK coming in the next 3 spots.
