Which LoL champion says ‘The ball is angry’?

Yeah, you don't want to make it angry.

It’s never a good thing to make someone angry, and if today’s LoLdle quote and this League of Legends champion are to be believed, you really don’t want to make the ball angry—but what exactly that means, and who says it, is a little unclear.

Who says, ‘The ball is angry’ in LoL?

The LoLdle quote on Sept. 18 is, “The ball is angry.” The League champion who says this line is Orianna.

After Tryndamere’s somewhat fishy quote yesterday, today’s LoLdle was an easy one. I knew who it was immediately because thanks to “ball.” I really enjoy playing Orianna in ARAMs, so that helped, and if you got to her audio clue, then her staticky robot voice should have been a dead giveaway even if you’ve barely used this mid laner.

This quote is one Orianna says when she’s attacking. The ball she’s referring to is the one she uses for all four of her abilities in her kit. Because her kit’s hard to understand and use for some players, she doesn’t get much time on the Rift. In fact, she has a pretty low 3.1 percent pick rate and an average 49.6 percent win rate. While that’s all well and good, she’s considered to be a B-tier champ, according to League stat tracking website U.GG, which means she just isn’t as good as some of the other mid lane champions in Patch 14.18, like Ahri, Sylas, Veigar, and Lux. As much as I love her design and her lore, she’s just not as viable in the meta right now.
