Sky joins SK Telecom T1

SKT picks up another mid laner

SK Telecom T1 announced today on Twitter that they have acquired former CJ Entus mid laner, Kim “Sky” Ha-neul.

Sky started his competitive career on CJ Entus at the beginning of 2016. For most of the year, Sky shared playing time with CJ Entus’ other mid laner Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong. CJ Entus were relegated to the Korean challenger scene at the end of the latest season.

While details have not been confirmed, it seems most likely that Sky will serve as SK Telecom T1’s substitute mid laner, similar to the role that Lee “Scout” Ye-chan played when he was still on the team.
