Riven's going from green to... nicer green.

Four top lane champions in League of Legends are all receiving some very crisp new visual effects in Patch 9.4, according to a post late yesterday on the official game forums.

The lucky winners are Wukong, Riven, Olaf, and Kennen, so if you play any of those champions, you’re about to look a lot better while slinging your abilities. The new effects cover pretty much everything involved with each champion’s abilities, minus sound (as far as we can tell). This is a very pre-season type of thing to happen, but curiously enough, Riot is shipping it in 9.4, nearing two months after the last pre-season patch. Better late than never, though, because they look clean.

Here is in-game footage of each champion’s new look, uploaded on the forums by Riot’s design team.

All of these updates effects should arrive in about three weeks with Patch 9.4.
