Many cat lovers and general fans of cute things have been waiting for the release of the newest League of Legends champion, Yuumi the Magical Cat. As we rapidly approach the date of her release, Riot Games has finally provided the League community with a champion trailer.

The video begins with Yuumi flipping through her magic book—aptly named Book—as she wonders where her master disappeared to. Suddenly, Yuumi is teleported by Book to Summoner’s Rift, where she meets a plethora of fan-favorite champions.

Yuumi meets Fizz first as she’s almost eaten by the Tidal Trickster’s giant shark. Then she meets Twitch and gets chased by the Plague Rat until Poppy and Tristana save the day. She even helps Kled run down Fizz and then we get a look at some of her abilities.

She shows off her W ability throughout the gameplay portion of the video as she zips and attaches herself from ally to ally, shielding and healing them as well. She also reveals her powerful ultimate, which sends seven waves of magic damage at her enemies.

Her kit is very reminiscent of Rakan’s great mobility as she seems to weave in and out of the battle, buffing up her teammates before locking down a bunch of her enemies with her ultimate. Get ready for some feline fun when Yuumi hits the Public Beta Environment (PBE) on Tuesday, April 30, and when she heads over to live servers on Tuesday, May 14.
