The 2018 NA LCS season schedule has finally arrived. The 10 new franchised teams will compete without fear of relegation for a shot at the title and for another chance to redeem the region on the Worlds stage, starting on Jan. 20.
Veterans like Hai Lam, William “Meteos” Hartman, and Zaqueri “Aphromoo” Black have moved to new teams, while Zach “Sneaky” Scuderi, Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg, and Darshan Upadhyaya remain on Cloud9, TSM, and CLG respectively. This year, there are several potential contenders with strong rosters to compete for the finals. The league is switching to a best-of-one format, which means each team will play two games a week, and every game will be broadcast on the same Riot Esports Twitch channel.
Will we finally see a new team crowned NA LCS champions, or will TSM rack up their fourth win in a row, despite having three new players and a new league format to adjust to? Anything can happen, and it all starts with the newfound rivalry between TSM and Team Liquid at 5pm ET on Saturday, Jan. 20.
Every week’s schedule can be found below, with times in ET.
