There’s a game-breaking bug in League involving Draven and Illaoi

If you like cashing in stacks of cash with Draven, prepare to be a whole lot richer with Illaoi

Draven has an interesting interaction with Illaoi as of Patch 9.8, with the Glorious Executioner being able to cash in his passive Adoration stacks on Illaoi’s spirits.

Popular League YouTuber Josh “Phy” Wyatt broke down how the interaction between Draven and Illaoi works. Not only can Draven collect Kleptomancy procs off Illaoi’s spirits, but if Draven kills the spirit, he gets the full cash in bonus for Adoration.

While Kleptomancy Draven has been on the rise recently, taking priority over other runes like Press the Attack, this bug might make Draven-Illaoi an unstoppable bot lane. We all know how frustrating it is to come up against a fed Draven, and if he can get fed without even killing you in lane, there’s no way you’ll be able to stop him.

This strategy has been picked up by some players in Korean Challenger, as well as various pros around the world. Kill lanes like Draven-Pyke or Draven-Thresh are still more popular, however, because Illaoi only really provides Draven with the ability to farm spirits.

If you want to have some fun playing a bit of a different lane down bot with your duo partner, give Draven-Illaoi a try before this bug gets patched out.
