Jungler Kim “Trick” Gang-yun, formerly of G2 Esports and support player Lee “IgNar” Dong-geun, formerly of Misfits, are set to join bbq OLIVERS for the 2018 season.

IgNar is expected to join up with his new teammates after the 2018 All-Stars concludes. igNar will be a part of the competition on Dec. 7 to 10 representing the EU LCS.

In Trick and igNar, bbq OLIVERS have gained two players with a wealth of experience at regional and international level. Trick has won multiple titles with G2 Esports in the past two years and has been part of the G2 roster at the 2016 and 2017 World Championship. IgNar, on the other hand, has been one of the main reasons for Misfit’s success this past year. His unorthodox picks at Worlds 2017 helped Misfits to defy the odds and reach the quarterfinals of the competition.

Bbq OLIVERS will be relying on this experience to help them improve their performance from the last year. In the Summer Split, bbq finished ninth and were forced to fight for their place in the LCK for the 2018 season. After beating CJ Entus twice, the team regained promotion to the LCK for the 2018 Spring Split.
