New Warlock legendary gives you another chance to Defile your opponent

This could get crazy.

The Witchwood card reveals are well underway, and the latest card is one that could be a big factor in the new meta.

The latest card was revealed by YouTuber Plag1at, and Blizzard gave him a pretty cool reveal—a Warlock legendary.

Lord Godfrey might not have a big body for seven mana, but that effect is hugely powerful.

If it looks familiar, that’s because it is—it’s Defile for two attack. Defile was added in the Knights of the Frozen Throne set, and quickly became a go-to AoE for Warlock. It’s skill-intensive, because it needs to line up just right.

Lord Godfrey takes that maths to another level, doing two damage instead of one. Control Warlock was already very strong, expect this to see play in those decks.
