Rastakhan’s Rumble is now live

The new expansion is here and players have already begun opening their packs.

The latest expansion from Hearthstone, Rastakhan’s Rumble, is live right now. Players have already begun opening their packs, which feature the Troll races of Zandalar from World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth. There are 135 new cards in the set, giving players the chance to battle alongside the spiritual Loa of the Zandalar, steel enemy weapons, and fight with a chicken that has an axe for a face.

With the expansion now live, you best be ready for a ton of new cards coming at you. Do keep in mind, as with all new releases, there may initially be some bugs and overpowered cards, so don’t be surprised if there are some quick patches for you to download over the coming weeks. We will be keeping an eye on the new Overkill mechanic, which allows players to attack again if they cause more damage than needed to kill a minion. Overkill is sure to create many issues when played correctly, but we play a Zoolock, so we can’t complain.

Missed out on pre-ordering the expansion? You are still rewarded if you log in during the release event, with six free packs and a legendary card. If you have been saving your coins, you can also now purchase single packs for 100 coins.

Well, what are you waiting for? Get to the Inn and open up those packs. Loa be with you.
