A new patch just hit the game servers and it seems that we’ll have to do something related to WoW to get my beloved Lady Liadrin, however there are a lot of things about the patch that have been released and I would like to comment a little about these changes, besides the obvious fact I won’t be playing my Liadrin right off the bat because of WoW stuff.
Certainly the most important thing added to the game this patch, the Deck Recipes will help newbie players to build their decks accordingly to their card base. I loved these Recipes because they make it so people are less likely to play with terrible deck ideas early in their Hearthstone career, diminishing the number of people leaving the game because of a high loss count.
Another interesting thing to note is how cool and playable these decks are, they also seem quite different than the standard decks we use to post, even the basic ones, but also powerful enough to pull a punch.
From this day onwards, “Full Basic” deck guides are not needed anymore.
This was something that was mostly a player’s request. I never thought more Deck Slots was needed to the game and probably do didn’t the devs and the people playing the game in a more competitive way. However, new players didn’t think the same and because of this new Deck Slots have been implemented.
I just hope that with this the requirement of challenge screen screenshots for Strivewire tournaments are cut, because of how much time consuming posting a screenshot is and how, in the end(summing all the time people pass posting these screenshots), the tournament will last 1 more hour because of it.
New Paladin Alt Hero – Lady Liadrin
The news I have been waiting for the most!
The Paladin Alternative Hero has finally been added to the game!! And….
IT IS A WOW PROMOTIONAL HERO!!
That got me angry, mad, I almost threw my chair off the window when I read that, because I hate WoW and wouldn’t want to play other Blizzard games just to get rid of that badly designed Uther, however I read this blue response in Reddit:
This warmed my heart a little, apparently we won’t have to actually own WoW to be able to acquire this Hero, but rather just do a quest between 1 and 20,
likely an event quest for some festival.
Confirmed, you’ll only need to get a WoW character to level 20 to get acess to Lady Liadrin! <3
Well, I guess this covers most of the important stuff about today’s patch. Other things are related to pre-purchase of Whispers of the Old Gods, preparation for Standard and Wild formats, and more Brawl modes.
Love you guys,
See you around!
