Warlock is the latest class to get a Recruit card

It's another tool for Demonlock.

The more cards from Hearthstone‘s next expansion are revealed, the more it becomes clear what decks will be tested as soon as it is released.

One such deck is Demon Warlock. The class has been given a number of strong tools for the Demon archetype that could see it make a comeback.

Possessed Lackey is a five mana 2/2 with a Deathrattle of Recruit a Demon. That means that when this minion dies, it will pull a Demon from your deck and summon it onto the battlefield.

The five mana cost is obviously an investment in that effect. You aren’t paying for the 2/2 on the board, you’re paying for a potential discount on the Demon. If it’s worth four mana or more, you’re definitely getting a good deal here.

However, it can be a little unpredictable. Being a Deathrattle means you can’t entirely control when the Recruit effect goes off. Obviously it requires careful deck building anyway, but that unpredictability could also throw a spanner in the works.

Kobolds and Catacombs releases in seven days time.
