It’s interesting how Rogue always seems to be a class that is present in top tier Hearthstone and is part of every Championship win since Hearthstone’s release. Tempo Rogue performed quite well in the tournament and was one of the standout decks at beating decks like Highlander Priest and Cube Warlock.
Jade Druid has remained a solid contender for a tournament lineup because of the sheer amount of pressure the deck can build up once the big Jades are pumped out. It is very hard to counter the deck if you do not get a very strong start and with enough anti-aggro tools available right now for the class, the deck is stronger than ever.
Highlander Priest is arguably the strongest deck right now across the board and with the entire deck surrounding two cards (Raza the Chained and Shadowreaper Anduin) and the rest of it being loaded with removal and draw, this deck is heavy reliant on pulling out the right cards at the right time and the mirror matches are often decided by who gets the better draw. Many in the community do not like the deck because of it, but nonetheless it is a solid deck type that gets the job done more often than not.
Cube Warlock is the final deck Tom60229 had in his lineup. With Warlock barely seeing any play in the competitive scene for several expansions, the class made a comeback with several new cards from Kobolds and Catacombs bringing the class back to life. It is one of the most consistent Control Warlock lists we have seen in years and it has the right balance of anti-aggro removal, heavy-duty minions and win conditions to consistently win games against any deck.
