Jeremy “Disguised Toast” Wang released a video earlier today that introduced the Hearthstone community to these new cards.

Lesser Amethyst Spellstone

Amethyst Spellstone is a four-mana Warlock spell that has Lifesteal and deals three damage to a minion. This spell can be upgraded if you take damage from your own cards, and then Amethyst Spellstone will do increased damage and Lifesteal.

This Warlock spell is the most important card revealed since each class is getting one—and the other two cards that Disguised Toast revealed help enable the Spellstone.

Kobold Librarian

Kobold Librarian is a one-mana 2/1 Warlock minion with the Battlecry ability to draw a card, but deal two damage to your hero. This effect, for example, can be used to help upgrade your Amethyst Spellstone.

Vulgar Homunculus

Finally, Vulgar Homonculus is a two-mana 2/4 Taunt minion, and it’s also a Demon. It has the Battlecry ability to deal two damage to your hero, just like Kobold Librarian.

Vulgar Homonculus is another defensive minion that can be brought back with the Warlock Death Knight.

All three of these cards could make great additions to the Zoolock deck.

Kobolds and Catacombs is set to be released in December.
