The newest card is a rare Warrior spell named Dimensional Ripper. The card costs a whopping 10 mana and it summons two copies of a minion in your deck.

Dimensional Ripper is an extremely expensive card that will automatically require a slow-paced deck. The problem it faces is that it needs to play around multiple big cards to provide any value.

The card is similar to Gather Your Party, which summons one minion for six mana but hardly sees play. Dimensional Ripper is technically better, and will likely have its niche somewhere, but it still looks like a weak card.

In an ideal world, it would summon something like Grommash Hellscream or Archmage Vargath. The chances are very slim, though. You’d need a lot of RNG on your side for Dimensional Ripper to get any value at all. You could stack your deck with high-mana cards, but you’d soon lose control of the board, and of the game entirely.

If you want to take a closer look at all the new Warrior cards, the Hearthstone’s Rise of Shadows expansion releases in just over one week on April 9.
