Halo World Championship Announcement

Josh Holmes mentioned in the Halo 5: Guardians Expo at Gamescom that Halo 5 will have a global championship with a prize pool of $1,000,000. This is the largest prize pool Halo has ever had in its history and is sure to bring back many fans from the past.

So far, this is the only thing mentioned about the Halo 5 Championship, but the community is already going crazy over this announcement. This shows us that 343 is keeping their word about making competitive Halo their main priority in Halo 5.

This is a massive step for 343, doubling their prize pool from their last global championship in Halo 4. I am definitely impressed with their commitment to competitive Halo and sure this big investment will pay off.
