Yusuke Momochi triumphed at the Capcom Cup final in December, overcoming one of the toughest crowds of opponents ever assembled at a Street Fighter 4 tournament. His championship victory came over Ho Kun Xian in the final.

Now, Momochi is ready to reveal his secrets. Or at least the secrets of leveling up one’s play from beginner to something more.

Momochi has begun to produce a series of tutorial videos, which cover everything from basic techniques to more advanced strategies such as option selects. The narration is in Momochi’s native Japanese, but English subtitles are provided.

Momochi also explored character-specific techniques. Legions of Ken players will certainly be interested in learning from a reigning world champion who played the character all the way through his title run.

He’s also analyzing matches from the event with a live translator at his side.

While tutorial videos for Street Fighter and fighting games in general are nothing new, there’s something uniquely interesting about having arguably the world’s best player break things down for you. And from the look of things, Momochi is just getting started in his quest to raise the bar for his fans’ play.
