Simple trick to complete the “Get 30 seconds of airtime in a vehicle” Fortnite challenge

This week’s free challenges in Fortnite: Battle Royale aren’t too difficult—but there’s a way to make one of them even easier to complete.

The first free challenge tasks players with getting 30 seconds of airtime on a vehicle. Sounds pretty simple, right? If you’re driving around the map and just hit some bumps or go over a couple of hills along the way, you’re bound to compile 30 seconds of airtime after a few games.

But for players who want to complete this challenge as quickly as possible, there’s a simple trick that only requires one item (other than the vehicle): Balloons.

Once you find Balloons and a Quadcrasher, all you have to do is sit on the backend (not in the driver’s seat) of the vehicle. Deploy your Balloons slowly until the vehicle gently lifts off the ground—if a Balloon pops, simply replace it by inflating another one.

After you’ve done this a few times, you can let your Balloons pop and you should’ve taken up the 30 seconds required to complete this challenge. Although this definitely isn’t what Epic Games meant by “airtime,” this easy trick can help you finish this task in no time—as long as you’re fortunate enough to find Balloons and a vehicle in the same game.
