There’s an issue with one of the new Fortnite: Battle Royale weekly challenges. Players need to outlast 60 opponents in a single match—but there’s a bug that’s preventing players from completing this task, according to Epic Games.
The developer wrote that it’s “investigating potential solutions and will provide a status update once we know more.” It’s unclear at this time if players on all platforms are having issues with finishing the challenge or if it’s specific to some region or platform.
This task was introduced today with the season eight, week four challenges. Outlasting 60 opponents in any game mode is the first stage of three for this set, which also includes outlasting 70 and 80 players in later stages. Players should be awarded with 10 Battle Stars in total after completing all three stages.
In theory, players should be able to complete this challenge in Solo, Duos, Squads, or any Limited Time Mode that’s available, as with any other challenge in Fortnite. After the week four challenges were released, players realized that the challenge wasn’t being completed even after they outlasted 60 opponents.
Players should expect the challenge to be working again later today if the issue is simple.
