While Ninja and DrLupo showed up and played better than they had in any other Summer Skirmish event, it was yet another winning effort from Vivid. Today’s championship is Vivid’s fourth in seven weeks—he won in week one, four, and five previously—but it was the first for his teammate, Jake “GernaderJake” Straus.

Vivid and GernaderJake took full advantage of this week’s format, which awarded one point for individual eliminations, as well as five points for Victory Royales and eight-kill games. The winning pair finished with 33 points over five games, while Ninja and DrLupo came in second with 29 points.

In the European competition, Duong “Kinstaar” Huyh and Jbzzed showed how skilled they truly are in a championship-winning performance. The duo earned 28 points, one more than that of two teams.

Here are the final placings for the first group in today’s Fortnite Summer Skirmish tournament.
