The Fall Guys event is around only until Aug. 15, and by completing a series of quests, you can unlock unique locker items such as a Fall Guys Back Bling, a loading screen, and more.

While running and jumping are straightforward, few players know how to dive. Thankfully, it’s as easy as pressing a button.

Depending on your control scheme in Fortnite, there are multiple ways to dive.

First, you need to head to a golden Bean Idol on the Fortnite map to transform yourself into a Bean. Once you spawn onto the Fall Guys floating platforms, you can begin your quest.

If you’re on PC, you can dive at any time by pressing the Ctrl key; on Xbox and consoles, it’s the LB button, and for other controller methods, it’s whatever you have set as your Crouch button.

It doesn’t matter when you dive—diving a few times while a bean completes the task and gets you 10,000 XP as a nice end-of-season bonus. Equally, if you complete the course within the time limit, you’ll gain a bunch of high-tier loot to help you in the battle ahead, and diving is a great way to reach some platforms you would otherwise not be able to jump to.
