Fortnite: Battle Royale will receive it’s second update of season eight tomorrow morning, developer Epic Games announced today. It will be the v8.10 update, and this time, Epic gave very little information about its content.
Epic has also confirmed that servers in all regions will go down for the deployment of the update around 4am CT. By that time, it should be impossible to join the matchmaking system and start a match if you’re inside the game’s lobby, and it should be impossible to open the game if you have it closed. The servers are usually back two hours after they go down, unless some major issue happens that requires further attention.
The v8.10 update should bring Fortnite’s latest vehicle, the hamster ball called The Baller. It should join the Driftboard and the Quadcrasher in the game’s current list of vehicles that players can use in all default playlists and most of the Limited Time Modes.

Players should also expect a few bug fixes, just like in every update. Nothing major seemed to plague most players this week, so the list might be short this time. It’s unlikely that we’ll see Epic vaulting items or weapons this time since there’s nothing getting added to the loot list, as far as we know.
Unless Epic is keeping a huge secret from players, the v8.10 Fortnite update should be a fairly small one. Players will only know exactly what has changed and what’s new when the patch notes go live tomorrow around the same time that the server downtime starts.
