Fortnite’s new vehicle The Baller had been teased since season 8 began

The new vehicle that’s ready to be released in Fortnite: Battle Royale, The Baller, was teased in one of the season eight loading screens since it started two weeks ago.

Fortnite player xHW35x found that and published the loading screen on Reddit while zooming into the interesting part. It’s possible to see something that looks like a hamster ball to the center-right of the image, between the left leg of the Hybrid skin and the right leg of the Ember skin. It’s slightly covered by smoke from the volcano and light from the treasure chest.

This means that developer Epic Games added a hint about The Baller’s release in an image a few weeks ago. Now, players are left wondering what other objects and items are in that same loading screen as hidden teasers and not just as decorations.

A few Reddit users said they believe the gun Blackheart is holding and the bow and arrow Amber is holding in that same image are both upcoming Fortnite weapons. Blackheart’s gun seems to be a new kind of revolver, while Ember’s bow and arrow could be an improved iteration of the long-gone Crossbow.

Another part of that loading screen also shows the recently-added Fortnite map item Buried Treasure, which Sidewinder holds at the far right of the screen in her right hand. It’s not a teaser that’s as obvious as The Baller since the map is folded while she holds it, but it could be a sign that other items on that image might be coming to Fortnite soon.

There’s also a beaded necklace coming out of the treasure chest and a golden goblet with two ruby eyes lying in front of it. If these are also teasers of upcoming Fortnite items, we might find out as soon as new game updates are announced. Until then, we’re sure that The Baller was teased in that loading screen and is now coming to Fortnite.
