Fortnite’s servers have gone down in the early morning hours once again, so you know what that means—an update is on the way.
The 5.41 update is a minor one, and it focuses on the addition of the Port-a-Fortress. This new throwable item is basically just a larger version of the Port-a-Fort. It includes built-in bounce pads, and is of Legendary rarity, so it can only be found in vending machines, chests, supply drops, and llamas.
For the first time, Epic Games has also introduced an item exclusive to Playground mode. It’s a consumable called Spiky Stadium, which will build a seven-by-11 stadium full of damage traps and bounce pads.
“We were inspired by the amazing things you’ve been making within Playground, and cannot wait to see what you create as we continue to build out the future of creative mode in Fortnite,” Epic said.
The rest of the content in this update is made up of bug fixes and minor changes, the most notable of which being the fact that the experiment of end-game storms damaging structures is now over—no explanation for this adjustment was given in the patch notes.
Stay tuned for more information about what comes out of update 5.41 in the coming days, and check out the full patch notes on Epic’s website.
