Fortnite: Battle Royale’s season seven, week eight will allow players to get another secret item after completing eight full sets of weekly challenges.
That means only players who own the premium Battle Pass will be able to see the item. While we have yet to confirm it, it seems that there’s a secret Banner hidden on the Fortnite island for players to grab.
Players will be able to find this secret banner in any Battle Royale game mode, except for Playground. The area where players should look for the Banner is suggested in week eight’s loading screen, which players unlock after completing eight sets of challenges.

We can see something marked on a wall below his right knee. It’s a banner-like shape divided into four squares: A8, B8, A9, B9. This is the clue players should use to guess where to find this week’s secret Banner.
And it’s not a coincidence that the Fortnite: Battle Royale map is divided in squares when you open it. The squares A8, B8, A9, and B9 mark an area below Frosty Flights, and the loading screen suggests that the intersection between these four squares is where players will find the secret banner.
This intersection is southwest of the Island, near an ice passage south of Frosty Flights. Players who go there will find a different kind of terrain exactly at the intersection. That’s where they should find this week’s secret Banner.
Once you drop there, interact with the item and you should be able to see the Banner unlocked in your Locker and ready to use in your profile.

If you are at the location indicated above and still can’t see the Banner, check if you have completed eight full sets of Battle Pass challenges. You must have completed all seven challenges of at least eight weeks of this season to be able to see it.
It’s not enough to only complete the seven challenges of week eight, unfortunately. Completing only the free challenges won’t unlock the secret Banner challenge either.
