Fortnite Season 5 week 5 challenges want you to take a swing at golf

Time flies when you’re having fun. Can you believe we’ve already reached the halfway point of Fortnite season five? A new week also means new challenges, as the clock is ticking on finishing out your Battle Pass before a new season begins.

Here’s what the fifth week of season five has to offer.

Free Challenges

Search Chests in Junk Junction (7) – 5 Stars

Ah yes, the weekly “hell in Solos” location. This time it’s Junk Junction, which will see more action than it’s seen in months, thanks to people fishing for chests over the next few days. Good luck.

Use Rift Portals (3) – 5 Stars

One of the best additions to the map is now a challenge, as you’ll have to use three rifts for an easy five stars. Check out our map below for general rift locations around the map.

Eliminate opponents in a single match (3) – 10 Stars

Three kills in a match. You can do it. We believe in you. It’s time to pop off like Tfue and rack up the eliminations. Or just leave these 10 tasty stars on the shelf. It’s up to you.

Battle Pass Challenges

Deal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or Grenade (300) – 5 Stars

Let’s hope your aim is good with throwables. To be honest, an easy way to finish this challenge is to stock up on grenades, let’s say six or nine of them, and begin hurling them into a massive team fight. They’ll hit someone eventually, right? If not, stink bombs are great for people camping in buildings.

Hit a golf ball from tee to green on different holes (5) – 5 Stars

It’s finally time to throw on your best Tiger Woods impression and hit up Lazy Links for some putts. There are holes all over the area, so finding them won’t be hard. What will be hard is finding enemy players with the decency to allow you to do your putting without shooting you.

Follow the treasure map found in Snobby Shores – 10 Stars

This week’s treasure map star can be found on the roof of the big building in Haunted Hills, to the northeast side of the area.

Eliminate opponents in Shifty Shafts (3) – 10 Stars

Some luck and some skill will both be required here. Shifty Shafts is usually good for a few people a game to drop in, but this week it will be a killing field. Get three kills there and enjoy your stars.
