Fortnite players are experiencing matchmaking issues in Europe

Epic will hopefully resolve the issue soon.

Some European Fortnite players are having trouble playing the popular battle royale game today.

Epic Games is “investigating issues with matchmaking in the EU region,” the developer revealed on Twitter earlier today. 

Luckily, this issue doesn’t seem to be affecting players in North America or any region other than Europe. 

In the past, Epic has worked quickly to resolve any issues with game services, such as matchmaking. European Fortnite fans are hopeful that this unknown issue will be resolved soon.

Update Oct. 1 3:50pm CT: Epic announced that “issues impacting matchmaking in our EU regions have been resolved.”
