A few players who logged into their Fortnite account today may have seen an Epic message that read “Due to issues last week with the Marshmello outfit, we’re granting you a special loading screen from the event. Thanks for your patience!” Closing the message allowed players to claim a Marshmello poster used for his concert in Pleasant park for the Showtime event in early February.

The issue Epic references refers to when when the company had to disable the Marshmello outfit on mobile devices due to stability issues. It was impossible to play with it for about a week, and now Epic is giving away this loading screen as a compensation for the trouble.

Epic has yet to confirm it, but apparently any player who owned a Marshmello outfit during the period when this issue happened is receiving this reward, regardless if they play on mobile or not. All they have to do is log into their accounts and the message should pop up before the lobby screen. Then, the poster loading screen should be available in the Locker tab to use right away.

Dot Esports has reached out to Epic for confirmation about which players are eligible to receive this Marshmello loading screen.
