How to complete the Golden Swag quest in Escape from Tarkov

After completing “What’s on the Flash Drive?” Skier will have another “crucial” task for you in Escape from Tarkov. Skier offers a side gig known as “Golden Swag,” where you’ll need to track down a Scav who’s hiding a golden lighter and drop it off at a nearby cabin.

Here’s how to complete the Golden Swag quest in Escape from Tarkov.

There are two main objectives you’ll need to complete to finish the Golden Swag quest in Escape from Tarkov: Take the Golden Zibbo lighter from Room 303 in the Dorms on Customs, then take it to the Trailer Park cabin on the outskirts of the map.

You’ll be given a special key to enter the cabin, but you will need another key if you hope to get the lighter in the first place—the Room 303 Key, which can be acquired from Therapist by trading seven T-Plugs and three Tape.

Where to find the Golden Zibbo lighter

Drop into a new raid on the map Customs and head to the Dorms. You should be familiar with the location after completing Operation Aquarius Part One from Therapist, but in case you’ve forgotten:

• Exit the factory or the trailer park if you spawned there.
• Take the main east-west road outside of the factory; head east.
• Once you pass a parking lot, the next turn takes you to the Dorms.

Unlike Operation Aquarius, you’ll be heading to the three-story dorm on the left. On the third floor is Room 303—this is where you’ll need to go to get the Golden Zibbo lighter.

The fastest way up is by the outside staircase as you approach the dorm building from the road. If you’ve got the key, simply head up and open the door: The lighter will be on the table in front of you.

If you don’t have the Room 303 Key yet, you’ll need to loot for it. Check any nearby jackets, duffel bags, or Scavs for the key—you may need to head to the other dorm building to find it. I found mine in the first-floor dorm security room at the very entrance inside of a wooden crate.

Take the lighter to the cabin

Once you’ve acquired the Golden Zibbo lighter, head out from the Dorms and back down the road. Continue down the direction you were initially traveling and follow the road over the bridge. Once you get to the next turn into a large industrial area, go left and walk through the main park to the other side.

You’ll pass a fence and a small checkpoint gate, and on your left will be a small cabin with a boarded-up door and some tires on the corner. This is the cabin you’ll need to enter—and you’ll be able to, thanks to the Trailer park portable cabin key you got at the beginning of the quest.

Use the key to enter the cabin, where you’ll be prompted to put the lighter down on the table inside. Simply hold your interact key to begin placing the lighter. Do note: It takes around 30 seconds for the lighter to be placed, so be sure the area around the cabin is clear of AI as you don’t want to be interrupted midway through placing it.

Once you’ve placed the lighter, you’re done! You don’t need to survive the raid to complete the quest. Completing Golden Swag will reward you with 4,500 EXP, Skier rep, 17,000 Roubles, a Soyuz STM-9 carbine, two Glock 33-round mags, and 120 green tracer rounds to use with a 9x19mm-compatible weapon.
