Smaller simulated soccer.

The EA FC Mobile beta blows the whistle to kickstart a new season of hellacious, handheld soccer, and you can take part if you know how to access the beta.

Mobile FIFA has captured our hearts before, but now it’s time for EA’s soccer franchise to move on. EA FC Mobile is the successor to EA FC Mobile 24 and includes new features like Dynamic Game Speed and True Player Personality.

Much more awaits in the EA FC Mobile limited beta, and just like its name, it won’t be easy to earn your place in its starting line-up.

To play the EA FC Mobile beta, you can download the application from the Google Play Store once it launches—but only if you live in Australia, Canada, India, Malaysia, or Romania.

To try out the EA FC Mobile beta on iOS, you need access to a Testflight link, and the details on this haven’t been released yet.

Android users currently have the easiest method to play the beta, but again, it’s limited to a small handful of countries. You either need to be from one of those countries to take part, or attempt to change your store’s regional settings—which is complicated.

You also need to wait if you’re on iOS, as per EA’s official words: “iOS: Available via a limited Testflight link. Stay tuned to our social channels for future link drops.”

Keep checking back to see if there’s any news on more countries getting access to the Android version of the beta and if the Testflight link news drops.
