How to make gold as a Rogue in DungeonBorne

Make it out alive to spend money for your next run.

When playing as a Rogue in DungeonBorne, you must be careful as you explore any of the fearsome dungeons. You might not have robust defenses, but you have some fantastic attack power and can leverage that to make gold pretty fast.

There are several ways to go about making gold. The best way to ensure you always get a small amount of gold on every run in DungeonBorne is to survive and find a portal. If you consistently have runs where you don’t make it to the end, you’ll likely struggle with maintaining money. You may have to turn down the difficulty to ensure you have a better chance of surviving the horde of enemies and players, preventing you from escaping.

Like the other classes in DungeonBorne, Rogue has access to the Trade window. Here, you can offer up any uncommon, magic, rare, or legendary weapons and equipment you find while exploring a dungeon. Offering these items at the minimum price point, or slightly higher based on the market that day, is one of the quickest ways to make gold.

You can do this on any character, but Rogues have a higher chance of escaping because they can sneak around the map using their stealth-based abilities. It all comes down to ensuring you can reach the end of a dungeon and make it out with your loot to offer it to other players. The downside to this method is you’re offering up weapons and equipment you could turn into crafting materials in DungeonBorne. You want to pick and choose how much gold you’re making, especially if you’re tired of starting with the common-level equipment after failing a run.

Alternatively, visiting the Merchant to sell the valuables you find, such as the lion, owl, or horse statues, is a good way to refresh your gold reserves. These do take up two-by-two slots in your inventory, so you’ll need to balance how much you want to take these with you compared to a valuable item. A good approach is to swap out one of these statues if the weapon or equipment is at least the magic (blue) rarity in DungeonBorne.

Beyond these methods, focusing on escaping from a dungeon level is the only thing you can do. There are limited ways for you to earn gold in DungeonBorne. But if you continue to struggle on a particular map or difficulty, bumping it down to earn more gold is always a good idea. You can always swap characters and try doing this on someone else, too.
