MDL Macau 2019 completes roster by adding Evil Geniuses

MDL Macau is the second non-DPC Major event happening in February.

An upcoming Dota 2 competition has finalized its roster, with Evil Geniuses confirming that they will be the last team competing at MDL Macau 2019.

EG is the final of the five teams that received direct invites to the event along with other top talents like Virtus Pro, LGD Gaming, Team Liquid, and Vici Gaming.

The recent winners of The Bucharest Minor, EHOME will also be in attendance after qualifying by winning the Dota 2 Professional League Season 6. And rounding out the roster is both Royal Never Give Up and Invictus Gaming who made it in through the China Qualifier.

MDL Macau will also be taking place right up against ESL One Katowice 2019—another non-DPC Major. Both events will be looking to bring high-level Dota play outside of the Pro Circuit’s viewership.

These eight teams will be competing for their share of $300,000 and potentially a spot in whatever event MDL has planned next.

The event will run from Feb. 20 to 24 at the Galaxy Macau resort and casino in Macau, China.
