StarSeries Season 2 Finals Schedule and Groups Announced

In two days, the StarLadder i-League StarSteries Season 2 Finals will kick off. Sixteen teams will compete for five days in the Palace Ukraina in Kiev, Ukraine.

In two days, the StarLadder i-League StarSteries Season 2 Finals will kick off. Sixteen teams will compete for five days in the Palace Ukraina in Kiev, Ukraine. The event will run from Sept. 7 to Sept. 11. The prize pool for the event is $300,000.

For the group stage, there will be four teams per group and four groups in total. The teams will then compete in two best-of-one matches and one best-of-three decider match to ensure whether or not they move on to the eight team double-elimination bracket. The groups for the tournament are as follows:

  • Team Dignitas

  • HellRaisers

 

Group B:

  • FaZe Clan
  • FlipSid3 Tactics
  • G2 Esports
  • MVP Project

 

Group C:

  • Astralis

Group play will take place before the weekend and the playoffs will be held during the weekend. The times are in the local Ukrainian time format (GMT+3). The schedule for the entire tournament will be:

  • SK Gaming is not attending the event due to a player medical issue
  • FaZe Clan filled in SK Gaming’s spot in the tournament
  • GODSENT and HellRaisers replaced Team Liquid and Fnatic in participation
  • Cloud9 and FlipSid3 Tactics replaced OpTic Gaming and Immortals in participation
  • Heroic was previously named “Team X”
