The longest operation in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive history is coming to a close soon, and many missions, game modes, and maps won’t be in the game for much longer.
The last day to buy access passes for Operation Hydra is Sunday Nov. 5, as the Operation is set to end on Nov. 13. Initially, Operation Hydra was meant to run until September, but Valve extended its stay in the game to allow new Chinese users on the Perfect World client to enjoy the content. The pass is $2.99, which is half of its original price, so that newer Operation players can try it at a discount.

“The most played Operation game modes during the final month of the operation will be added to CS:GO… the most played Operation maps of the final month in Competitive Matchmaking and Casual will replace the least played maps in those modes,” Valve said in a blog post in September.
This means that many of the maps—like Agency, Insertion, Austria, Black Gold, Lite, Shipped, Thrill, Rialto, and Dizzy—will be available for less than two weeks until they’re gone forever. The same goes for the Operation’s game modes, including Wingman, Weapons Expert, Heavy Assault Suit, Headshots Only, Hunters-Gatherers, Stab Stab Zap, and the Flying Scoutsman.
The FAQ on Operation Hydra can be found on the CS:GO website.
