IEM Oakland (CS:GO) Event Preview

Here is your IEM Oakland event preview.

Wednesday, Nov. 16 marks the start of IEM Oakland, the 13th $250,000 plus event this year with a huge, $300,000 as its prize pool. $125,000 will be given to the team who fights for it hardest and whoever it is will have a tough time.

Four teams qualified for this event earlier this weekend at iBUYPOWER Masters 2016. You can find the final placings for this event here. However, in short, Cloud9, TyLoo, FaZe Clan and Immortals qualified for this mega-international event with almost all of the best teams in the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive world.

The groups for this event are as follows:

Group A

Group B

The groups will be round-robin best-of-ones with each win gaining the team $1,000. Moving into the playoffs, the quarterfinals and semifinals will be best-of-three series and the grand final will be a best-of-five.
