Gfinity CS:GO Summer Masters I – Day 1 Recap

Day One at the Gfinity CS Summer Masters I consisted of some of the pool play matches which will in the end, determine a team’s fate in the tournament. Day Two will present us with another day of intense matches and we will also find out which teams will advance through to the play-off bracket.

Group A:

Ninjas in Pyjamas vs. SK Gaming

Cobblestone:

• First Half: NiP (T) won pistol, SK (CT) took it 10 – 5.
• Overall: 22 – 19 | NiP (CT) took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Inferno:

• First Half: NiP (T) won pistol, SK (CT) took it  9 – 6.
• Overall: 16 – 12 | NiP (CT) close out the series 2-0.

Titan vs. Team Dignitas

Mirage:

• First Half: Dignitas (T) won pistol, took Titan (CT) 9 – 6.
• Overall: 16 – 10 | Dignitas (CT) took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Overpass:

• First Half: Dignitas (T) won pistol, took Titan (CT) 9 – 6.
• Overall: 16 – 7 | Dignitas (CT) close out the series 2-0.

Group B:

Virtus.pro vs. mouseSports

Cobblestone:

• First Half: mouse (T) took pistol, took VP (CT) 11 – 4.
• Overall: 22 – 20 | mouse (CT) took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Cache:

• First Half: VP (T) took pistol, mouse (CT) took it 11 – 4.
• Overall: 16 – 5 | mouse (T) closed out the series 2-0.

Team EnVyUs vs. Cloud9

Train:

• First Half: C9 (T) took pistol, nV (CT) took it 9 – 6.
• Overall: 19 – 16 | C9 (CT) took a 1-0 lead in the series.

Inferno:

• First Half: nV (CT) won pistol, took C9 (T) 13 – 2.
• Overall: 16 – 2 | nV (T) ties up the series 1-1.

Cache:

• First Half: C9 (CT) won pistol, nV (T) took it 8 – 7.
• Overall: 16 – 12 | nV (T) close out the series 2-1.
